St James' is a school where children from the ages of 6 and 12 are prepared to continue their learning path in both the Portuguese and the English/International learning systems.

St James' School was created due to the need of expansion of St George's School which has existed since 1960, in Cascais, and it will follow the same guidelines, policies and ethos as St George's School.
A good standard of discipline will be maintained and this is supported by a system which promotes competition, keenness and 'esprit-de-corps'.
Small classes will ensure individual attention. Pupils will be taught both in English and Portuguese by qualified staff, their time being divided equally between the two languages and curricul.
